The Derenoncourt Philosophy :
Stéphane Derenoncourt philosophy takes its roots from Burgundy,
seeking for mineral and aerial wines. The 'terroir' notion is
ubiquitous and tremendous energy is spent in the vineyard.
Self-taught, he much favors intuitive approaches looking at the
vines and mother nature rather than applying 'blind' science.
A
Derenoncourt Signature?
Stéphane Derenoucourt gold rule is to ensure his wines are not
signed, but rather that each wine expresses balance, freshness,
and all subtleties the terroir offers. Overall, a Derenoncourt
wine is a terroir wine.
Stéphane Derenoncourt today:
Now a worldwide famous winemaker, Stéphane Derenoncourt talent is
well praised and his wines often receive high scores (Parker, J.
Robinson, etc); As a winmaker star of the 21st century,
Derenoncourt remains humble and dedicated to his mission.
Derenoncourt at CHAMBERT:
Stéphane Derenoncourt mission at CHAMBERT is to elaborate great
Malbec wines. The 2007 vintage is the first one done under his
